Bill Jennette was born and raised in the State of Maryland.  He   was educated at Wake Forest University and later received a degree in Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland. After five years in the United States Air Force, he returned to Westminster, Maryland where he practiced General Dentistry for 35 years.  He has been married to Cindy for 42 years. They have two daughters and four grandchildren.

Other than a few years as a student of a noted portrait artist and friend, Richard Eichmann, he is self taught.  The majority of his work resides in private collections. Many of his paintings are for sale as originals or prints.

Within the past few years his work has received numerous awards, including a Best in Show in the Maryland State Fair amongst a field of over 700 entries and two Viewers Choice Awards. Dealing in realism, detail would best describe the work of W.C. Jennette. Attention to detail was a natural progression from his professional life.
